Artist donates original oil painting to Bethel Church

Rick Hanneman paints a larger-than-life-sized oil painting of Jesus Christ.

Artist Rick Hanneman recently donated a larger-than-life-sized oil painting of Jesus Christ to Bethel United Church of Christ, 14700 New Halls Ferry Road.

The portrait is in the church lobby and reaches the second floor. The artist's father and stepmother are members of Bethel.

Hanneman operates his own business, St. Louis Murals, and specializes primarily in portraits, landscapes and murals. He has won several awards from the St. Louis Artists' Guild.To view the painting, call the church at 314-831-5808.
